Corona, Ca…advanced FLOW engineering (aFe), an industry leader in performance cold air intakes, filters and exhaust systems is pleased to announce the release of their new Silver Bullet Throttle Spacer for the 2004-09 Ford F150 with V8-5.4L part number 46-33002.

The Silver Bullet Throttle Spacers are designed using a serrated/helix design that thoroughly mixes the air/fuel charge for a complete burn increasing horsepower, torque and improved throttle response.   The serrated entry design eliminates the annoying whistle at idle and cruising speeds that is common among standard helix designed spacers. The additional space increases the volume between throttle and cylinder improving volumetric efficiency. Part number 46-33002 is constructed of machined T-6061 billet aluminum for increased strength, durability and an aggressive look to your intake tract and comes with all hardware for an easy installation.  46-33002 is 50-state legal (C.A.R.B. E.O. #D516-2).

In recent testing, part number 46-33002 produced an astonishing 6.1hp and 20.3ft. lbs. of torque.

Part Number 46-33002 has an MSRP of $118.75 and is available in stores now.

"In recent testing, part number 46-33002 produced an astonishing 6.1hp and 20.3ft. lbs. of torque."

This is such a lie. I was always tought that if you lead people to believe something that is not true, then it's a lie. Where's the data to support this claim. If it was true and not meant to be misleading, it would be very easy to find the data on your web site. Furthermore, if it was true you'd be eager to post it here.

This is the new advertising scam being used by the throttle body spacer manufacturering crowd. It's called part-throttle testing. What is that?

I know when I'm driving down the road I'm always thinking, "Man if I had just a little more power without pushing the pedal down any further, that would be really cool"!

So here's the challange - Does this throttle body spacer produce more peak horsepower or more peak torque during full-throttle testing? Post the test!
