What "linkage" are we talking about?

Clutch I assume.

My burb had the same sm465 and mechanical clutch linkage, with 4" lift and 35's I never had any trouble.

I can see the potenail for a problem here with a body lift but you should ne able to overcome it with linkage tweaking unless you have a LOT of body lift.  The only major trouble I ever had years ago with one is the ball stud in block for cross brace pivot actaully broke off one time. I had some trouble with linkage wear too but I built them back up with brazing rods which worked well because of brass's frictional properties.

Yes (if you want to be unknown for some reason).

I didn't do that by choice, there must have been an error on the board. It was showning other people as "unknown" for some reason.

I looked back at old threads, and it actually changed all my old posts to "unknown"....

Seems fixed now, even the old threads. Wierd.

Not as weird as it sounds. With most forums software (and I know first hand) your names are not attached to messages as "firmly" as one might think. They are linked to a user name in database and if the database becomes corrupt in regard to that user, this will be reflected in posts present and past because the name in the posts only points to the current data base entry "cell" snd it "grabs" the name or data in that cell/entry field and applies it to post.

i am having a problem with my linkage due to the fact that i raised the body about 5 inches, not a body lift a crew cab on a regular cab frame. i got a cnc master cylinder that they use in sandrails and all i need to get now is a push slave cylinder. then i just have to fab up a bracket to hold the cylinder and set it up to push on the stock clutch arm. with a good used master cylinder and a new slave i will have about 100 bucks into it not counting the fab work
