NP203 t-cases drive the front driveshaft all the time, unless you have a it converted to part-time (4hi 4hi-loc N 4low 4low-loc) the loc refers to driving the front and rear driveshafts at the same speed
NP205 t-cases are part time (2hi N 4hi 4lo) in the 4x4 modes the driveshafts are driven at the same speed, and in 2hi, the front driveshaft isnt driven at all
The are about equally strong, and as far as I know both are gear driven but the NP205 is the tcase of choice for most wheelers.
Good luck.

You can move the tank where ever you want it man, you're just gonna have to figure out how on your own. No one makes a kit for lifting a gas tank on a fullsize as far as I know.
Just get the tank purged properly before takin the MIG anywhere near it.
Good luck.
