I have been looking for a 1" body lift for my 71 Ford F100 Pickup.  I know I have seen one somewhere but can't seem to find it again.  Anyone know of anyplace that would have it?  All I can find is 2" and 3".  Any input would be nice.  Oh and someone was telling me (not that I believe the source, haha) that you can just cut a 2" in half to get the one.  Don't think it would work out to well myself, plus if you pay for the 2" why not use it?

Have you tried 4Wheel Parts? Also try Daystar and Synergy Suspension.

Ya I tried 4Wheel Parts, not the other two.  But, I have browsed through their product lineup on 4Wheel Parts and other 4x4 parts dealer's sites.  Maybe I'll go more in depth on the brand name site.  Also I have heard of people buying to sets of regular body bushings and then just stacking them on top of one another for some lift.  Anyone agree or disagree with this? And the other (not so good) suggestion?

Ya, I can't seem to find the actual Daystar official website.  It's wierd.  But that is a good place to start atleast I know there is something out there.

Also try Summit. They'll suprise you how much they have for 4x4's. As for stacking two different kits together, I wouldn't recomend it. It's not going to be as stable and you're adding another point of friction and wear between the two kits.

Hey, I never thought of Summit.  And it did cross my mind to check but never got on top of it.  And that is what I told the guy but he insisted that it was doable cause he did it.  What a freak!   lol

I believe I saw a 2" poly kit in an old 4 Wheel Parts catalog I had at one time. You should try and call them or Summit etc. Alot of times they'll have other applications that aren't shown in the catalog.

Ya, all I can seem to find is the 2" ones and I have looked almost everywhere.  If anyone knows anywhere it would be a big help.  The only reason I want a 1" is because the bumpers don't like to match up great and it looks kinda stupid, but I am custom fabbing one here soon so maybe I will make it to accomodate my body lift as well.
