im trying to decide on a lift kit for a 92 k-1500 two door blazer. Ive seen alot of kits and when i talk to sales people they try to push one brand and never tell me the difference in kits. i was leaning toward the superlift 6 inch kit. my question is which of the many kits is better, for instanc fabtech uses a new knuckle lift but from what i hear it makes the front track wider by 2 inches on both sides. now pro-comp and almost everyone else uses brackets to drop a-arms. which is better? which will last longer? My blazer is mostly street driven with the every so often 4wheel romp. any feedback is much appreciated.

c- designates 2wd, best ifs lifts on the market, imo, are fabtech or DC, if you dont want to increase track or build a dune runner. Stay clear of pro comp at all costs

Sorry its a k-1500, what is bad about pro-comp arent they the number one selling lift out there? skyjacker seems the same as superlift but skyjacker says nothin about crankin up torsion bars superlift does. i was told crankin up torsion bars was bad. what would you recommend?

You don't want to crank up the torsion bars. The skyjacker lift as you said doesn't have you do it. It is a very nice and very good kit. I have their 6" ifs kit on my 98 f-150 and I love it. It is a very well put together kit.

I checked it out superlift and skyjacker are 4.5 inch lift. you have to crank torsion bars up to get 6. I just cant find anyone with these lifts on chevys.

I'm looking in Peterson's 4 wheel and offroad mag. right now and they have a 6" lift listed for a 88-98 GM 1500. It's $1479 for the kit and $1951 for the system.

national tire and wheel has the 6" superlift for 1000. im really leaning towards that kit. havent heard anything bad about them. read an article in petersons that the strongest lifts for k-1500 was fabtech and superlift.

Look for a #### kit, they are the best. Fabtech is a close second then superlift. The DC kits are getting hard to find now though. Rancho is another quality 6"!

heres my idea. the 6" skyjacker kit (because of the extras like multi shock kits) a two inch body lift with 36x12.5 16 swamper tsl radials. sound good?

That will work, make sure you gear the axles with 36's.

4.56 gears should be about right dont you think, also a e-locker in the rear.

Locker and 36's may be too much for a 10 bolt, you would definatley need to upgrade axle shafts or switch to new axle. 4 56's should do you good

Ive been running that kit for over two years now, if you got any question about it, just ask... install ride wear... the only complaint I have is they dont have a full rear leaf option but I got custom springs anyway.
