Ok I just put a 9.5 14 bolt out of 95 GMC 2500 pick up in my 87 full size 1500 as I blew the 10 bolt for the last time. Got it in and went to put the damn tires on and the wheels wont fit well the lugs are bigger and the center hole is smaller. My 1st thought was to just drill the lugs bigger but after further thought Im thinking theres a better way    ???? Should I get new wheels or use a bolt on adapter??? I really am on a tight budget here and wheels are really out of the price range Who makes adapters that will do this or am I stuck with new wheels I cant rotate the tires then either ???

HELP?? Suggestions ????
Thanks for your input also

New wheels are probably going to be the real solution.  I don't know about an adapter as that will probably push your rear wheels way out away from the drum.

Ya the adapter thing is out I think as the axle is already about 2" wider than the one that came out of it. Someone on another forum suggested changing the lugs from 13mm to the older 7/16 as the bolt pattern is the same. I have not tried to find lugs to do this yet. Im hopping this is a cheap solution to the issue as I need my truck running !
