Can anybody tell me what they think on puting a Ls1 in a 87 chevy CK10? I havent heard of anyone doing it yet atleast in Casper, Wy. I know the big block way is the most common but I want to stay with the small block. I want it to be decent on gas because it is a daily driver. Another question I have is there a aftermarket company that makes winch mount front bumpers?

I always liked Casper Wyo and up on Casper Mount too. Being that you are at 5000 ft alt, you should maybe build a engine instead of buying it to get best power and MPG at that altitude. For starters you should consider about 10 to one CR if you never plan going to the low land to live because the higher CR will boost power and MPG at higher altitudes like yours.

What kind of suggestions do you have for an engine? I want it to be fuel injected Because wyo isnt always flat, but still keep gas milage and high HP. It has a 4" lift and 33"s. I kinda new into the wheelin but i have a background in engines more towards HONDA from autocross. But I had a baby and sold my race car. I got a truck cuz of wyo winters and i Want to go play in the mud.
