I don't feel like cluttering up the Pismo thread anymore so I'll post this here... after being inspired by Kyles clean engine bay I stole a page out of his play book and did this over the weekend.
Pretty sexy if I do say so. We'll see how long it lasts though.

There's an engine in there somewhere I swear... darn newfangled trucks.

It was pretty simple really.
With the engine cold...
I hosed it off. Wiped it down with a damp rag. Dried off what I could and air dried the rest. Then sprayed/wiped it down with some Meguiar's Supreme Shine protectant stuff I had.

Pretty sure it's not made for engines, but it worked, just like Kyle said Armorall would.
If your engine is dirty it may take some scrubbing and Simple Green to get it clean. Mine was just dusty so a rinse was all it took.

some simple green will really help too. Ive one it on the hemi a couple times.

thats a nice looking maze of tubes and hoses .....
solid axle chevys cant be beat 78 K5: 350 V8,700r4,np208, 8 lug D44 4:88, 14 bolt 10.5 4:88 with detroit locker and 35 inc parenelli jones dirt grip tires
