I have a 2003 chevrolet s-10 4x4 zr-2 and the transmission blows out fluid from the vent tube when you drive at speeds over 65 mph the truck also vibrates at those speeds does any body know why maybe? thank you.

Only 1 of 2 things will cause this. Too much tranny fluid or getting too hot. Had a 93 s-10 blazer do this and couldn't go above 70 without this happening. Do a tranny service and add an auxillary( I can't spell for crap) cooler. Be careful with this problem because if it gets on the exaust manifold and catches fire you won't need to worry about it anymore you'll just need a new truck. Good luck and keep us posted.

About vibration. Check tire balance. Had same issue.

What size tires do you have on it?

ZR2's usually run 31-10.50 15's Factory size.

Yea, but I want to know if he's got a lift or bigger tires on it that could be causing the trans to overheat.
