I asked about running 31x12 AT tires on a standard Isuzu Rodeo without a lift,I got a repy that there would be some rubbing and was advised to go to a 10.5 tire. My new question is if I put a 2"-3" body lift if that would remove the rubbing problem, (I like the looks of the 31x12)  I am not going to do any major off roading, Iam just trying to get through the huge snow drifts here in NY and would like to be able to drive some off road trails to secluded fishing and camping spots. Any advice is welcome.

I would go with the 3 inch. I put 31 x 11.50s on my Isuzu I370 and had to put the 3 inch body lift in my truck to keep them from rubbing but when I was in PA for work I didint have a problem with the deep snow or banks. just make sure you get the filler panels with the lift.
