Well ive been readin the mag for awhile and never put 3 and 6 together to get 45 and a half to look at the forums to answer some of my questions and my first one is about my 96 Chevrolet k1500(4wd) and i want some better tires for light off-road duty, but need good road manner....realively for off-road tires....Ive been lookin at the Interco trxus m/t and the toyo open counry m/t's. Ive heard good things bout both but i like that the price of the trxus's ....i'm running 285/75R16's right now....thanks alot

i would take a look at bf goodrich tires ive owned three sets of the all terrain version (jeep wagoneer 33x12.50)(jeep cherokee 32x11.50 and a smaller 29 inch or so before the cherokee lift),my friend has the mud terrain version(99 z-71 equivelant to 32's) and so does my dad(96 wrangler 33x12.50). we all love them low road noise great traction and versatitle tires and easy on the wallet.

You're not going to find a better all around tire than a bfg mud-terrain.My cousins and myself have been runing them though three different designs up to and including the KM's for years.They aren't real noisey,they work well in the rain,snow,mud,or dry.I have no problems towing or anything.They can be a little pricey but they wear like iron if your truck is set up right.I usually get around 40k out of a set my cousin gets 50 to 52k from a set,He's easier on his f-350 stroke
