I have seen a few 92 - 94 body style Ford F 350 ' s that were crew cab plus extended cab. However I have been unable to find what it is exactly called or even find one for sale. Can anybody help with more info on this rig? I would like to purchase one for my next project vehicle

I agree, I have never seen anything like this. It was probably done by someone who had one to many kids or something.

I've noticed 5th wheel haulers seem to go for designs like this. Especially custom rigs for pulling horse trailers. 1 ton vans cut to have a flat bed on the back for a 5th wheel seem popular for applications like this too. There is a 3+3+3 cab (6door) 1 ton chev with a 4ft flat bed and a 5th wheel hitch on it that i have seen around here at the rural expos....they guy usually has a pile antique tractors in tow. The 6 door cab is is seamlees, looks factory but is obviously custom.

or something like that
likely contracted out to a conversion company
Ever seen a 4x4 fullsize van? Conversion company, not the dealer.

This company is pretty popular with what they do. What they do is cut the frame and take a section from a donor truck and weld it up. Then they fab some cab parts like floors and etc. Then they get doors from donor truck and install them. Send it to paint and u have a rig thats unique and looks like it came off the asembly line. Heres their website http://main.altonco.com/index.html
They extended the SEMA bully dog performance Ford truck.
