I have a 2003 Avalanche that has 17" wheels stock. I what to put MT classic 2 wheels on it. with 265/70/17 BFG A/T tires. Well the MTs only come in 17x9. I was told that might be a porblem of being to wide for that tire. So I was going to go down to a 16x8 wheel. Will a 16x8 fit on my truck. I cant get a good answer from anyone.

try nitto terra grapplers, they come in all sorts of crazy metric tire sizes...a 295/65/17 would look pretty damn good on a 17x9 rim.

BFG AT/s have limited metic sizing choices.

as far as a 16x8? i have no idea....the place you are going to buy the rims from should do a test fit for you.

Good luck.
