ok i got a problem, my buddy and i where mudding in his 86 2wd suburban and now his trans. is scrued up it will only go in 2 and wont shift in auto what should we do?
party in the mud!

Check the fluid level. Check the linkage, maybe you binked something off a stump or rock... Beer, it's what's for dinner.

if that thing has overdrive then it's a 700r4. that meens that you probably smoked it. and they are not cheap to fix.
