The nice thing about a sammy on its side is that it's easy to put it back on its rubber side.  I take it that you've seen a few on their sides.  I'ld love to hear the story behind doing donuts in the sand with MT's on a sammy.

My buddy dave has a sammy on 33" no name MT's. They bite pretty good for being cheap.

We were out on a place called the burnt lands near ottawa, its all flat, rock, sand mud, you get the picture. I buried my stock k1500 (nothing but a set of 32 bgf ATs, and some underhood stuff) up to the rear bumper in clay. I was screwin around in 2wd shooting rooster tails of clay until the front tire dropped in a little hole. In no time flat, thanks to the posi, the rear axle and bumper were sitting on top of this clay you could walk on. 4wd was no help then. I had 3 people in the cab.

Dave and another friend pick us up in his sammy. sammy wont budge my truck (not to my surprise) now theres 5 of us in this sammy (the smallest of us being 6' 185lbs). Were heading out of the burnt lands to get a tractor, when dave cant resist pulling a donut in the sand pit....in 2wd....We were doing about 35 mph when he cut her hard to the left, just before a full 180 came round the added weight of 5 big kids shifted in the cab, and the tires found traction at the same time. We came down with quite a thud but were able to stand it back up with a little brute strength and ignorance. Only damage was my elbow tearing the plastic window on the soft top. That little rig fired back up with only a little puff of blue smoke and we were on the way to get a tractor.

The tractor I borrowed had a bucket on it so after a little digging I lifted the back end of my k1500 up and we dropped some logs in the holes and she drove right out.

Both of these dumdum moments were caused by the drivers not pulling the t-case handle before wheelin. Oh well, getting stuck is half the fun in my mind.
