Jason. Myself and Kyle made our way to the Del mar tough truck challenge.
Met up about 6am at Jasons house, he already had his truck on my trailer and was ready to go.

got to the check in on time/early and forced kyle in passed the gate nazi. Did some some quick prep to the truck and then waited for the call for us to stage.

The track was harsh the death woops were big and sharp and it was a really tight course due to the size of ground they had to deal with.
since we ran the Open/pro class we were able to watch the street class have at it first. The first guy to hit the track ate it bad, and made all of us a little nervous.

it went really well!! our first lap we came into turn 1 way to fast and over shot the cones but finished the course correctly. unlike most guy who DQ'd there runs by not running it the right way and over shooting everything. since we hit cones or missed the one jump 2 times due to speed we had a pretty bad time due to penalties. BUT we learned the track and made a new plan of attack.
round 2 we only hit 1 cone and made pretty good time around the track.
ROUND 3 we were perfect. we tried running in 4wd and had our timing down perfect. We ran as hard as we could and had zero penalties. We didnt place high on the score board due to most guys in our class had big engines and big brakes. but hell we finished with no breakage and we ran the hell out of the truck!!! We should have results soon, they had some issues with the times they posted for us and they said they were gonna fix and repost them online.
Jason has video and pics coming soon!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was a blast! I finally found someone who took pictures, and I should finally have time to get the video up tomorrow.
Right now I'm in a small town in Southern Illinois... it's almost 1 in the morning and I'm going to bed!
Oh, and nope, didn't bring any bro hos with me... unfortunately... still waiting for that pic Kevin... ;-) haha

Here are some photos that I found that One Premier, Jeff Young, took and posted on DezertRangers. They are from the first round, I hope there are more from two and three coming...

sweet! the pic of you in the whoop section is my favorite, especially since water is coming out of your coolers lol! trouble makers you two are, spilling on the track haha. i'm taking my truck next year, that way we can have a reason to go both days lol. i'll run street class and jason can run pro class again.
