I have a 88 Jeep Grand Wagoneer that is do for a major brake job.  My problem is that the brake line that run to the back brake is rusted through.  I need to replace everything for the rear. My question is does anybody know of any company that has/makes the replacement lines.  I really don't want to have to do the bending myself.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

i am a certified tech, and i have found that when you try to install a pre-bent, or custom line, you have to end up bending the crap out of it anyway to get it to route properly. i would just make a line myself, and make sure that the flares are done right. and besides, the pre-fab lines are much more costly than just buying some brake tubing, you could probably buy the tubing and a cheap flare kit for the same cost,if not cheaper than a pre-fab.

Thank you for the reply.  I did give that some thought, maybe I'll do a little more reserch on this. I'm just trying to figure out which way will be the easiest  way to go about this.  One more thing is if I do go the route of doing the bending my self, don't I need to have a certain amount of tubing in order to get the right amount of pressure to the brakes.  Also the brake line that runs from the master to the rear runs thourgh the frame of the truck.  Will this be a problem?  Thanks again for your reply, hope to hear from you again.  I really miss driving my truck.

the length of the line does not matter, as long as the flares are done right, and you bleed all of the air out of the system after. i would route the line through the frame first, then cut to fit, and then flare the ends. one word of advice i can give from many years of doing this is not to forget to put the flare nut on the line BEFORE you flare the tube.
