will a 302 hook to a jeep tranny without any adapters? the tranny is either the t 176 or the t177...

Ford and Jeep engine have a differnet bolt pattern the back of the engine to mate with bellhousing. Also Jeep has never used a Ford engine in a jeep in last 40 years but they have used, Buick, AMC, Chrysler and GM ones to name a few.
