I have a 99 wrangler with a 2.5 and a 5 speed and 35 inch tires. what I need to know is what front and rear ends are in it and the stock gear ratio is.then I need to know what gears to change them to so it will be as close as possible to the stock ones.Iwas also thinking of maybe putting 37's on it so I need the gers lower but I can't anyone in my area with a clear answere on my problem

It has has 3.73 gears I believe. The 6 came with 3.07's!! A set of 4.56's or 4.88's should fix your problem and make it more fun to drive too. I have a 4 cyl cherokee my wife drives with stock tires and the engine will do the job if geared correctly. If it has a Dana 35 in rear you can go as deep a 4.88. If it is a Dana 30 you can go down to a 5.38 front a rear. If it is a chysler 8.25 in rear, 4.56 is the deepest you can go.
