Last I heard, there is one planned and there is a LOT of 14 bolts out there!

I know there are a lot of 14 bolts out there, I have one in the back of my truck. I am running the detroit right now but I would definatley go for a selectable if they came out with one. The locker gives me all kinds of trouble in the rain, snow and ice.

Detroits can be a royal pain in a a$$ on the road about a lot of things and I would use a open diff before one of them for street driving and towing.

I agree with you on that one, but a posi may be better if they do minor off road like mud and other things like that. Detroits can be difficult on the road, but if you know how to drive with one it can make it alot easier. For example, dont power around corners, dont use excesive throttle on grippy pavement, and stuff like that. I still think they are horrible on the street though
