Resting? That is a new term for a disabled vehical. I have a 79 J20 that is really resting because it is not in use but it is fully functional and can sit for several months and work when called upon. The reason for its resting is for planned full restoration one day to like new condition.

I work for Ford Motor Company so thank you for supporting us.
Ford verse Chevy !!
All I care about is that you buy an AMERICAN TRUCK OR CAR.
The automotive industry if you realy sit down and think about it runs the United States. With out it you would have nothing.
Thanks,
HaveMud!!!

Only problem is that there is no "American" car built that does not have foreign parts on them in varying degrees anymore so it is getting to be a mute point. Personally, I do not care where it is built. I do care how well it is built and how reliable it is though as I do want maximum value for my dollar anyway.

Don't just buy american when it comes to vehicles. The more we all buy american products the better our country will be. I sell wood stoves for a living and made in the USA is important to us all. Made in china may be cheaper right now but if our jabs keep going overseas we will all feel it.

There is some truth to this but every one has to watch their bottom line too. It is a delicate line to walk and some imported products are actually quite good too. We have more problem than just buying what is made here becuase jobs that make the products are being shipping overseas and they are getting tax breaks to do it too and this is wrong anyway you cut it.

working for a japanese company here i was surprised to find that how much of the stuff that goes on these atvs wave runners and golf cars are made here and not overseas. Most just like trucks have other companies near them that supply alot of the parts. About the only thing not us is the motors all the frames, plastics, fiberglass and very long list of drivetrain parts are here. The big problem is the full-time and temps that don't give a *** how well they do there job putting them together. but i do agree that the tax breaks for sending work overseas needs to stop because between that and the osha and the epa killing us with laws you do not have to deal with in other countries just ask business to go overseas. It is alright to half way work on your rig as long as it is safe for other people on the road but at work some people need to think about doing their job better to make business want to stay here.

found off road dead had to flip over and read direction to find out how to fix or repair daily but for now is resting in peace for awhile. Parts are cheaper on old chevys thats why i got mine and let the f250 go.

Parts from the lowest bidder. We cannot ignore EPA as much as some would like to. I am not a green freak but we have done more damage to this planet in the last 100 years than in the 10,000 years before it. It is time to pay the piper here in that regard because it will be cheaper to fix problem now that when it is too late. If our main ground water aquafiers ever get contaminated, we are screwed.
