I have a 2002 Silverado Z71 off road with a 5.3 v8.  I have the push button four wheel drive and I honestly hate it.  I want to put in the stick on the floor.  I'm not 100% sure what transfer case is in the truck but I was just wondering if its possible to take the stick out of a wrecked silverado (I found a 2000 in the junk yard) and put it in my truck and toss the push buton out the window?  I just dont want to get in over my head.
