i heard its a bolt in swap? that ford only made one frame for f250s an f350s for coils and leafs/2wds and 4wds and someone on here did a swap from a 2wd f250 and used a f350 front axle with leaf springs and it bolted right in i was wondering if this is true? COULD IT BE?!?!?! dare i say....that easy.... (minus the steering and driveshaft of course) im only doing this to get more lift i never go thru mud only to haul my mustang i just hate the look of a 2wd under a lifted truck an i really cant stand my truck being stock height anymore im thinking 38s or 40s on the new kmc revolvers    thanks in advance to everyone

Never seen it on here. And no, it's not just going to be bolt on. Obviously the beams on a 2wd have pivot points that are not located on the 4wds, and the the leaf spring hangers on the 4wd are not on the 2wd frame. If this were the case there would be alot of goofy unused bracketry on the frames.

That's not saying it wouldn't be a pretty simple swap as SAS's go, but its far from bolt on.

I just found DJ's post. I still don't buy it. Time to go search the parking lot for a stock F250...

im thinkin if it is the same the frame probably has holes for a bracket or something that holds the leafspring or shackle in (not and actual bracket) but im gona start looking for f250s i guess to see...or wait til i buy this one and look under it
