i just read the jeep jk bent axle housing article in four wheeler. i have a 98 cherokee 4x4 with a 2 inch lift and a dana 30 up front, i mostly do high speed runs living in so cal at the time i was running bfg 30s on it and missed a turn on the trail doing about 50mph and launched front end up. after reading the article i looked at my jeep from a distance a saw tire lean like described in the article, i then crawled under with a pry bar and attemted to move the axleshaft but they would not move? could i have bent spindles? and if the axle housing is bent is the shaft bent? what will happen if left like it is in 2wd or 4wd? i now run 31s and i have noticed no handling problems and have done a shakedown in 4wd no binding or handling issues occure leading me to believe i have bent spindles. whats your opinion? thank you.
