ok so here is the 411 on that
pretty much any thing with high clearance and a short wheel base is pretty scary on the fwy (including my k5) the scariest truck i ever drove was the 2 door explorer. just switchin lanes you can feel the back end get loose. im pretty sure thats why jeeps dont have v8s, so you have to choose long base or short

i have never owned a bronco, but i do own and 99 XJ. look at it this way, if you care about fuel economy, than go with the jeep. if thats no issue than it doesnt really matter. both seem to have strong and weak points. i guess it comes down to preferece... i would go with the jeep since there hasnt ben anything my jeep hasnt made it threw yet. and im only running 30in tires.
99 cherokee, 5spd, stock with front and rear tow points and 30 x 9.5 wrangler GS/As. costume front bumper with 7inch optronic lights and TJ flares modified.
