I have a 72'c10 body that i would like to swap onto a 1980 k20 frame...how hard would it be to do this?

Well, if both of them are the same wheelbase, it probably wouldn't be too hard.  The 1980 frame is pretty much the same as the frame they started with in '73.  Check the frame widths between the two.  Also, try to check the difference in elevation changes between the two frames, like the elevation change where the cab mounts to the frame opposed to where the bed mounts.  Then, just take some rough measurements noting body mount locations in reference to things that would be the same on both frames.  Good reference points that should be located in roughly the same locations on both frames would be things like motor mounts, rear leaf spring mounts, and radiator mounts.  Do some thorough research and measuring and you should be able to answer your own question
