Whats up everyone? Started a little project today that turned into a big one. I was replacing my rear diff fluid in my 03 ram 1500 4x4 when i found 2 of the clutch guide clips had broken off. I pulled the carrier out but can not remove the 4 gears to get to the clutches. Can anyone tell me how to remove these gears and access the clutches. I was told that you can rotate the 2 smaller gears and they roll out. Not sure if that is true. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

t5hanks again,
Josh

whats up everyone? I was able to replace the clutch guide clips and every thing is running smooth again. I found on the internet that you have to compress the clutch packs and remove a concave washer from behind the spider gears and then roll out the gears. After that its a easy install. I used royal purple 75w140 cause it was way cheaper than the Dodge dealer had. If anyone has a shudder while accelerating from a stop i would look at the clutch guides.

Thanks Again,
Josh
