been a while since i've posted... rawkon doesn't leave me anything to do any more... lol
anyhow, here's project that'll be done and installed when it gets back from getting powdercoated this week...
I spent about 10 hours on it, using a nibler, a 4 1/2" angle grinder, BFH, and a huge pair of channel locks to make the bends... I'll post more pics as I install it..
the layout

folded the rear up for strength...

punched out holes for cooling and oil access..

a small amount of reinforcments... since I scored my bend lines, I stitch welded all the inside bends..

this is one of the mounting nut serts I made to reach inside the frame...

more to come, it should be back in a couple days with a nice finish on it...

Geo450racer: is that a cummins 5.9?
nope....
6.7 cummins, Rob's putting twins on for about 800hp and 1200ft/lbs, which is turning into a rather large project. we got the turbo's mocked up today, rob took the mock up location bracket to have a billet adaptor made. there might be some pics on diesel power mag when it was first started a few months back. I haven't worked on it much at all myself. I could snap some more pics of it tho...

yep, although getting twin turbos to fit is proving to be a challenge...
I just got done fire ringing the 6.leaker heads and got it back together with ARP studs to git rid of... so now it's back up to snuff.
