Hey all, great pics and looks like a fun time was had by all.  I noticed in a few of the pics the Pre Runner that was featured on Fourwheeler.  The silver 2002 Ranger.  I'm currently in the process of building one myself and I'm using the write up as a reference to where I want to go.

If whoever owns it wouldn't mind sending me a PM,  I promise not to be "TOO" much of a spoonie, I mainly have questions about the bumper and the lift.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick reply.  Yeah, I've read through the entire write up on the build.  I'm more interested in the incidentals like the bumper and whether they kept the previous lift, or reversed it when they went with the DB LT.  I found it to be a great write up, it's exactly what I was looking to do with my 02 Ranger XLT.

Thanks again, and sorry for the thread jack.

Eh... this thread is dead anyway...

I can tell you anything you need to know about that truck.

Yes, the old RCD lift kit was removed completely when the Dixon Brothers kit was installed.

The bumper is a custom made one off unit that Aaron Dixon put together using two stock bumpers. He cut and welded them together to make a wider bumper, added the light bar, then had it powdercoated black.

Any other questions?

Thanks for the info, everything in the write up was pretty straight forward, those were the only things I really had any questions about.  It had mentioned that Aaron Dixon had worked on the bumper, but didn't give much detail, I knew it looks stock, but I had no idea of welding two together, pretty smart.

Oh hey, I did think of one more thing, in the write up it mentions upgrading to 30# injectors, was that part of the supercharger kit?

Thanks again for the info, I've done a few projects in the past, but all were cars (Evos and Miatas).  I inherited an 02 Ranger XLT and wanted to turn it into a project but wanted to be different than the 12' tall 4x4 that round around here.  Something with low CG and could whip the rocks as well as mud puddles all in the same day.  That build was exactly perfect for what I'm wanting to do.  Financing it seems to be the biggest hurdle LOL.

So far I've put JBA Headers, K&N Intake, 3" body lift, Cragar 6x8 soft 8's with BFG TA KOs 33x12.5 on it.  It looks great and I'm at a good point to be able to have some fun in it while getting the funds together for the BIG project.
