Well as it turns out my company decided to start laying off people and unfortunately i was on that list, last thursday i was let go from my job and even given a severence package which means they don't intend on bringing me back anytime soon.

well that sucks big A well always think on the bright side keep your head up.  think of a compnay hiring as a hot hot chick.. they only want you when your with another chick, so play the part and when your looking for a job at like you still have one

Totally blows! I work for one of the larger shipping Co.s and they have been cutting people every month or so it seems. Some with  more than 10-15yrs with the company. It's getting scary. But here's hoping you are back on your feet in no time.

I'm open for anything that would be considered skilled labor, i don't mean construction work because of my back but you know something that requires the use of technology, which might require maintenance/repair of something high tech. I don't have a college degree so nothing that requires a degree of course.
