um sorry the previous owner gutted it out and added a mid to late 70s type 350 with a huge edelbrock that doesnt allow an egr valve. i thought about the starter but thats to easy. once you get the engine to key on its pretty easy to jump the starter wire to turn over the motor. btw $150 makes me legal every 2 years

Why not use a couple of clubs, one for the brake pedal and one for the steering wheel. Any prevention or a deterance is good. Also, save for cheap alarm. I used to have a civic that I locked up like a bank, 2 months after I sold it it was stolen...new owner didnt lock her up like I did! Even if you dont have an alarm, hook up a bright LED.

Which lines? From the trans to the radiator I'm guessing? Or do you have a cooler?
Stock lines or do they need to be custom?

ya from the trans to the radiator. not sure if they need to be custom or not. i have a 4 in body lift though. the prob with the ones i have is they hit the forward drive shaft and will pull out the radiator

I've got the tools to do it (same as brake lines) but I've never made trans lines and don't know if I would even know where to start...
Maybe try contacting Mesa Hose in Costa Mesa, they do this kind of custom work and can probably point you in the right direction.

yes you can but its not the greatest idea.....ive got metal line from my rad to where my engine block ends and then its rubber from there to the tranny..... if u ran complete rubber u have to make sure its safe from everything else around them

my metal lines are beat to crap by the monkeys who recently installed the new tranny. i want to run them up and way out of the way with new fittings to. well i was working on it this weekend i also found *** house wiring and home wiring nuts and a spagetti factory. my headlights are dim and now i know why

omg are u serious house wiring in the K5... ugh some people are retarted......well about the tranny lines, u know u can buy new factory replacements from LMC truck catalog ......but i dont like where the factory mounting location is they run under the oil pan by the starter and then ramp up to the radiator......when i re did mine, i just routed them up by the firewall, along the fender and to the radiator....much safer location i think then down there waiting to get ripped off by a rock or other off road crap.......who installed your tranny?
