Building a 90 chev 4 x 4. Looking for information on the biggest suspension lift available that will handle 46 inch tires. Would appreciate any information you may have.

go with a Solid axle conversion IFS wont handle 46's you can buy the kit or build your own if your a pretty good at fab work but deffinatly go with a SFA conversion.

i cant remember off the top of my head. i think you can buy the kit that comes with all the b rackets and front springs. its gonna take some work to install it though. you basicly have to cut your entire front suspention off and start over. and your gonna need to find a front axle. most commen in a Dana 60 out of a Ford. the short tube has to be on the drivers side to accomidate for your T case.

offroadunlimited.com and offroadesign.com sell SAS kits. and yes you will deffinitely need no less then a dana 60 up front and 14 bolt ff in the rear to handle those tires.

yea with those size tires your deffinitely gonna need to stay with a 1 ton axle, gear low too, 4.10 aint gonna cut it.
