I just got a diesel yj and it was very weak so I sell the engine and planning to put a new one, the choices I got is a 4.0L HO or a 5VZ 3.4L v6 190 Hp from toyota tacoma, which one will be the best option in performance

I agree with FourWheeler, 4.0L, as long as you plan on keeping the engine fairly stock, as there aren't a whole lot of "hot rod" parts for a Jeep 4.0L. However, its a VERY strong engine, and will last a LONG time with regular oil changes. I must admit, I'm also curious about the diesel engine. If it was in good shape, I'd consider keeping it. LOTS of torque, usually not tons of HP though.
1992 Olds Bravada, D44 front, 14bff rear, recentered Hummer beadlocks, 35" M/T's, eMap GPS, 700R4 from a 6.2 diesel, NP231, 3" BL. Go big or go home! 'Fool for life!
