My son has a 92 Jeep YJ that I recently added a 4" suspension lift and a 1" body lift.  We added 35" Mud country tires on 15x10 wheels.  Suspension companies all recomended 6" lifts for 35" but I'm trying to keep the Jeep as LOW as Possible.  I've looked at the fender flares for a TJ and they seem like the wheel opening is larger.  If they are, how much trouble is it to trim out the wheel wells to add the newer flares so the tires won't rub any more?  I'm looking for other options other than a $400+ set of fender flares.

Harry,
dont know if you have looked at smittybult products before. but they have sone nice flares for under your 400 dollar price range. rockriders.com, out here in cali has them or fourwheeel parts. I put a set on my 89yj and had little to no cutting.
