4L60E to a np205? need advice

Ok i have a 02 s10 im planning on putting a dana 44 passdrop in it cuz i got a really good deal on it and the width is perfect. so im trying to figure out what tc could bolt right up to my tranny. the axles come with a couple np205's but the adapter is pretty pricey. sorry if i put this in the wrong section im new here

advanced adapters.com they will have an adapter that will between your 4l60 and 205
|

yeah thats where i found them. its like 725 just for the adapter. any other options?

I don't think I'd waste the time or money putting that heavy ass, old, hard to shift 205 in your truck. I'd look for a 208, or any other t/case with the newer round bolt pattern and a passenger drop. The only reason to even consider a 205 is mucho hp with tires that are even mucho mas!
