Dang George, that's a bummer. At least she's not suffering here on earth any longer. I really hope you can make it out with us.

She passed peacefully in her sleep. I appreciate the condolences. My kids are getting on my case about getting my knee looked at. I had it scoped about 7 years ago and may need it replaced. I will try to put it off until after the June trip if that is the case.

I just found out a buddy is bringing out his parents with their mini-semi and stupid huge trailer. They obviously can't go too far up into the sand so I can't stress enough to whoever gets there first to grab a spot close to the high tide mark. Last year they hit the edge of the wet at about 30 and went 10 feet.

Nice, I hadn't thought about that. Last time they had a Cummins on 38s park next to them on a tow rope and gun it. Barely made it out.

Me and Lindsey will be bringing the TB out.  We won't be doing much but it will be fun to watch everyone else.  I got a tow strap so if you guys can pull us WHEN we get stuck, I would very much appreciate it.

It doesn't work like that. Your "spot" is just admission to the beach and permission to stay there over night. You don't get assigned a parking spot.

Google "Pismo Beach" or "Oceano Dunes" or even just hunt back a year on here for the pics from last year, you'll get the picture then.

Well technically you can "reserve a spot" - show up with yellow tape and orange cones and block off the section
