I am considering putting 2 1/2 ton Rockwell axles under my truck. I figured that since I am building a 393 stroker and putting 44" Boggers under it, and that I find it kind of hard to obtain a Dana 60 front axle for a Ford that Rockwells would be the way to go. I know someone who is selling them but I don't know where I can get parts for Rockwells. I would also like to convers both the front and rear axles to disk brakes, put selectible lockers in them, and put a gear ratio somewhere betwee 5.13 to a higher 5 or low 6, but I don't know what options I would have going with Rockwells. If anyone has ever delt with Rockwells and knows what is out there as far as options go I would greatly appreciate any insight. Thank you.

Big Mo, check out Boyce Equipment, www.boyceequipment.com . They have a great selection of used axles that they rebuild on site. (They are located in Ogden, UT) You can get a 2-1/2 ton Rockwell there cheaper than a Dana 60 front! They also carry a complete line of all maintenance parts and accessories as well as disc brake conversion kits. They have a great website and sell axles from rebuilt 10 bolts all the way up to 5 ton units. Happy hunting.
