Has anyone heard or seen anymore information on this new F100 to replace the Ranger lineup? Read about it once and haven't heard anything else about it.

my sources say that they are scraping it and running the same ranger for 10 more years but changing only the headlights and the design of the steel wheels

Word on the street is F100 is shelved, current Ranger will continue until at least 2010/11 then will be replaced by the "world" Ranger, think Asian Ranger.

They have one, it's a 3.0 liter PowerStroke that is in the overseas "Asian" Ranger. It would be great if they could get one that is emissions compliant here. Our best shot at this is with the "World Ranger" that is set to be the current Ranger's predecessor.

The Asian Ranger is that the one that's availiable with 4 dooors, solid front axles, diesel engines?!!! a friend of mine has a Ranger he bought in Brazil, four doors solid axle, I think it's a 2000 model. My cousin in Germany also has one I believe it's an '07. If these are the one's you're refering to, it's about time they make it to the American public.

They care more about supply and demand, and the demand is "A 4x4 with better fuel economy, a better ride quality so I don't spill my latte, better handling so I can drive my 4X4 like a sportscar into hair pin turns, yada..yada..yada". What ever happened to the beer drinking, gun totin', real truck driving folk?
