no more tailgate.. how to.. barn doors

i just came across some barn doors to put on my 91 v2500 burbon. the barn doors are off of a 79 but, LMC pretty much says they are the same as 91. what do i need to know before attempting the swap? right now i have a tailgate w/electric rear window.
also, any tips on swapping out the rear side glass with new ones. i also came across new glass to install...
?

Never heard of anybody doing this before, sounds pretty straight forward though if the parts are the same.

i think the mounting plates are so different that it requires some cuttin and welding but, that should'nt be to bad.
