and are torsion keys worth the money you spend instead of just cranking your stock torsion bars? it seems like your paying for the same amount of lift just better ride? is it worth it?

depends on if you want to ride rough or smooth ride....cranking your stock torsion bars would make a rough ride..the aftermarket keys are made alittile different...to get a littile more lift for you...it is worth it....the frame hangs to low....does the truck have a body lift????

nope its all stock. torsion bars and all are stock.so i wana crank them. but i dont mind the rough ride really...or at least i dont think i will right now. because i have never had a truck that rode rough. but i will have to see. and i was thinking bout maybe sanding and painting the frame black. how you think it would look. its white truck.

cranking the T bars isnt a good idea. its gonna cause very uneven tire wear and it'll make your ball joints, tie rod ends and half shafts wear out quicker.

New torsion keys do the same thing...

small body lifts are ok but keep it under 3 inches the best way to go is a suspention lift. a suspention lift isnt that hard to install on an IFS truck  and it can be done in a garage with a buddy to help ya.

um..im trying to remember i think it was a little over 3000 whnen it was all said and done. thats the lift, skid plates lots of new suspention parts..i.e ball joints, tie rod ends and much much more..lol and all the fasteners we replaced. and a set of BFG m/t KM2's. as for the lift itself i cant say. i know you get several options like rear blocks, add a leaf's springs, brake lines and shocks so you can kinda pick and choose to fit your budget.
