hey! I have a 1988 m/max 2.6 5sp 4x and am trying to get info on the diffs front and rear, no id tags. Does anyone know what the diffs are? The rear looks like a ford 9in. Need info please thanx.

It is definitely not a 9", I can tell you that much for sure.
If the axle isn't made by mitsu I would be more inclined to say it's like a Toyota 7.5" or 8". They have a drop out third member just like the 9".
That said, I have no clue what axles are actually under a MM, just that they are not a Ford 9".

thanx. it was only mishful thinkn for a 9. still have no definite answers. i will be doing a ford explorer8.8 and hp dana 30 swap shortly but still looking for info.

Do You still want the gear spec.

Do You still want the gear spec? Also the Isuzu has what they call a 9 inch rear end.
