i just bought the truck last week and i have to say i made out like a bandit. the body is perfect and its on brand new 35s. the 350 is just about brand new but it came with some issues. then theres the bad stuff. its got a turbo 350 which has two feet in the grave. the pitman arm was toast along with the link to the knuckle. the front DS was also toast, they decided not to extend it. it does have a 4inch suspension lift along with a 3inch body lift. im assuming the gearing is still stock hence one of the reasons its gutless. i redid the top end of the motor and retuned the edelbrock carb but its still gutless. any suggestions?? its also got a edelbrock performer manifold and headers. but still no balls. im desperate. this is my first chevy so im still learning. thanks.

No "balls" because it has no gears in it. Many just do not seem to understand with lifts and bigger tires, much deeper axle gear are the solution to problem not intakes, cams or exhaust. The tranny would likely not have its feet in the grave right now either if it had been properly regeared. If you want that truck to run, install some 4.88 gears in axles and swap in a 700R4 it it will be a whole new animal when you step on the gas and yet it will also still cruise very nicely too.

ya definitley need gears otherwise youll never "feel any balls" unless you put in 900 hp race motor that will burn up your tranny in 30 mins......get the gears and if you want better crusing rpms swap in the 700r4....that what i did in my blazer and i like it
