2000 F-250 V10

I am looking at a 2000 F-250 Superduty 4x4 with the triton V10 in it. the truck has 161,000 miles on it and they are asking $8,995 for it. and the dealer offered to put a new western v plow on the truck because i will be using it for plowing and towing. the final price after the plow is installed will be around 15,000. i am just wondering if this is a good price for the truck and the millage is too high. and if i am getting a good deal on this truck. and if these are good trucks to buy.

AS far as frice goes check with NADA or even KBB.com
I don't know a lot of people (even "Ford guys") who have been crazy about the Triton V10. In fact, A friend of mine ordered 3 F-350's back in '99 or 2000 and was terribly disappointed. His employees all fought over the old trucks because they had better power.

ya plus u have maybe another 40k out of it tops without major major repairs

Single Cab? Crew Cab? Short Bed? Long Bed?
9k sounds like a decent deal if the truck is in good shape.

Super cab 4 door short bed 4x4, cap bed liner and new western MVP plus V plow included in price.

Too many miles on it to turn into a plow truck.Look for lower milage and V8.
