Yes, Art & Brian...you guys missed a really fun run.
Moggy did as i expected... S L O W...but sure. Glad I brought the welder, I think it got more use on this trip than the few years i have owned it. That will change, it will get more use soon.

Thanks to Kevin for the great carne asada and fireworks. Thanks also to Jason for spearheading the run and keeping all of us up to date via the forum.
I will be dialing in my short wave & getting my technician license also. I am sure my range should be better than it was...I think I destroyed my pioneer gps dvd player..it will go back to pioneer for repairs.
I had a blast & hope to explore the caves next time i get out there...

ya man, with that stupid budget thing i was cut back to one day a week at work, couldn't go anywhere or do anything, but now everything is looking better so i shouldn't miss out on much anymore.

oh wow    looked like super hella amazing super fun lol.... nice group of vehicles by the way..... one question what in the world could have broken on the big HD ram?

the lock nuts didnt have the set screws on one side of the control arm.   even though he checked and tightened them.  in between one of the jaunts it came loose and pushed the axle foward on one side almost 2 inches.   that with a heavy ass diesel up front it bent the threaded section of the control arm.    we fixed it on the trail and had him running in no time.   he said his alignment was better then before.

well guys had a great time...one of the best trails ive ran.it was good to see everyone again..frank your right about the welder that thing rocks...have to get one of those.it was great to see the mog in action.ill have to get xj ready to run it next year...
