Absolute blast, thanks everyone for showing up and making it a trip to remember.
We made it home with no issues. Most of the fast group ran back today plus Kyle and his Zr2, he kept up no problem. ran the whole Rd with no issues or big stops. prolly averaged 40 to 50mph. also had a couple of big air moments when the jeep hit some woops going way to fast. ask john we prolly hit a good 3 to 4ft of air a couple times.
thanks again everyone, what an awesome time. i havent laughed so much in a long time.
broken count my rear sway bar loose. ( dont know why....haha) quick disconect lossed a bolt. my d ring fell off and Doc found it.

Oh man, the most fun I've had in a really long time. Thanks to all for making this run so memorable. Can't wait for next year! My truck ran great, the whole trip so paranoid something would break, but it impressed me with how well it handled the whoops and the suspension beating. I didn't run the trail back, my bro-in-law, took the road back and made it back to San Diego in 5 hours (got back by 330pm).
I have pics; will post them soon.

Well I had a great time overall even with the breakage and moment of clarity in the desert alone. Thanks to everyone for helping fix my rig. Doc I will see you in Redondo one of these days and we will hit up joes for breakfast.

Awesome video Kev!
Most of that looked to be do-able in a 2wd with a lead foot.

as long as the 2wd has the suspension to handle the lead foot it wouldnt be a problem doing the trail in 2wd. Josh Brian and Damien were all 2wd

" Most of the fast group ran back today plus Kyle and his Zr2, he kept up no problem. ran the whole Rd with no issues or big stops. prolly averaged 40 to 50mph."
Oh, and according to the math we only actually averaged 18.05 mph on the trip back.
Figuring we left at 10 am and arrived in Barstow at 6pm covering 126.35 miles off-road and subtracting an hour for the time we spent on the highway going through Kelso.
Anywho...
