Help, help please HELP.
Hello everybody,up till now i was one off the thousand secret visitors admiring your cars and the things you do to them.
But this time i realy need help, living in a tiny country in Europe i had the guts to buy my long time favoured car a 1972- 4x4 chevy suburban 4 speed manual half ton altough i managed to get it registered they give me a hard time now about the towcapacity.
The Dutch department of transport demands a official statement from GM-chevrolet.
Otherwise no trailering for me!!!!!!
Is there at General-motors a PR-office or a website where i can get such a statement???????

Back then GM used to rate them by GCWR (combined weight of vehicle, cargo and trailer) I would email GM about this but given its age it might be hard to get answer you want. The GCWR of that vehicle should be 10,000 or 12,000 lbs.

I would try the GM website, they would be the ones you need to talk to, especially if you need something 'official'.
