For This Rubicon Run:
Wheelbase: If it were me I would use this tire combo as a min tire for your Jeep Rubicon. I would also may include a lift even a 2" spacer, easy to install.
For this run.
TJ 31”+
TJL 33”+
Jk2 32”+
JK4 33”+
I have done this run many times in my CJ7 with 33"s This time I will be driving my 05 Rubicon with 33" and a 2 1/2 lift.Note I do have a 9,000 winch.
We have taken stock TJ Rubicon's on this trail.

7slotgrills: 4wheelin is 4wheelin but sometimes you just want to be out there with your own brand. We don't need people to say my brand is better.
I pull my self out. LOL
You need to find different people to wheel with then, I don't think I've ever been around a group that thought their rig was better because it was "brand x" and my "brand y" was stuck.

I own a rubicon and I fully understand the reasoning...there is a difference if you haven't modified a Tj to match! But it does sound rather snobbish to list it that way. I have also seen many other offroad groups listing runs as 'restricted to such and such modifications (extreme stuff) or sometimes 'stocker rig friendly'and I never get offended...because if the run is listed right-you know immediately if your rig will handle it! And unless your jeep has been modified-the Rubicons with the stock lockers can do things easily other jeeps can't...
So here's a suggestion... 7slotgrills...I know where you wanted to wheel, been through some of it. Go to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Rubicon/ this is mostly east coast members originally...there's a 'core' group of us from New England that get together for runs. Spread out from Cape Cod area to New Jersey...there's a half dozen of us that have gotten together for Florida Trail, Torrey Tunnel, Ma Bell, and also come up here to NH for some runs. AND most of us also own other jeeps...between my family and our closest friend and all our kids-we own 10. Once you are registered there-you can get 'auto' forwarding of posted notes without having to go to the site again, and our 'local' crew will add you to our personal email tree.... 2003 Rubicon, 4.0 auto 4" Roughcountry lift, JKS quicker disconnects 33x12.5x15 Cepek Crushers on 15 x 8 steel rims Skid plates end to end, custom SkinnyPete bumper system, Rancho shocks, AiRaid system. Warn winch, Xenon flares...otherwise pretty much stock! 1994 YJ rebuilt and customized 4 cyl. 5 speed, 4" lift, 31x10x16 rubicon MTR's on rubicon MOAB rims, Xenon flares, skids end to end, cabcover and tonneau set, Skinny Pete bumper system and front winch (forgot the make) and totally overhauled end to end-every bushing, bolt, etc. replaced. Has not been on the trail yet-that's this weekend we hope!
