hey there i got a 94 350 with a 650 holley avenger carb weind intake headers i have had problems with the carb about six months after i bought it any idea what my timing should be set at at my engine is bogging out when i floor it what shoul i try to adjust on the carb . is this carb really worth it or would my engine perform better converting to tbi or propane . i got a 74 chevy sb with d44 front ected locker 14b rear w/ detroit 5.13 gears home made crossover and 39.5 boggers on hummer beadlocks

If it's a '94 it WAS TBI originally. If you plan on running mostly high RPM's (like drag/ mud racing, etc) it's probably not a bad carb/ intake setup. I'm guessing that intake is a big old single plane???
If you have a stock cam, I would probably start your timing around 8 deg BTDC.
What kind of fuel pump are you using? Do you have a regulator?
