I have a 1999 Silverado 5.3L and when I give it gas I get a real quick chirp/hiss from the engine. Thought it was the belt or idler arm, but they check out. Checked the oil and it was 1.5q low, so I changed it, but still getting the noice. Any ideas.

Check for vacuum leaks.
