I was wondering if anyone knew anything about putting a 3" body lift on a truck with a rusty floor and semi rusty cab mount? Will it work or will i need to re-inforce the mounts or buy new ones?

It would be a good idea to replace or re-inforce them. I mean, since it's off anyway and easily accesible why not? Better when it is already apart to then having to do the disassembly twice or more depending on when they give out. LMC has replacement mounts that are relatively cheap that you, a friend or a shop can weld into place.

Are you saying it already has an 8" lift? If your driveshats don't fit because of the 8" that you added, then yes you will have to have them extended. But, if your wondering if the body lift will make them to short, then no. A body lift just replaces the bushings between the body and the frame rail. Which means that it is just lifting the body further from the frame rail, thus "body lift". It just creates a gap that allows for bigger tires without causing changes in suspension or drivetrain. So, if your driveshafts fit already, then you won't have to worry bout changing them again with the body lift.
